A Northeast Ohio native and proud Akronite, Dr. Noble completed his undergraduate degree at The University of Dayton prior to going to medical school at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. After medical school, he returned to Northeast Ohio where he completed his orthopedic residency training at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. With a large aspect of his residency training taking place at Crystal Clinic, a passion for Shoulder and Elbow was ignited by the historic shoulder providers, including Dr. Curtis Noel, Dr. Jeff Noble, and the previous American Shoulder and Elbow president, Dr. Rob Bell.
Following residency, he was invited to complete his shoulder and elbow fellowship at the world-renowned Oregon Shoulder Institute. This program is one of the top shoulder fellowships in the country, led by Dr. Patrick Denard, who has been ranked the #2 in rotator cuff repairs and #17 in shoulder replacement expertise in the world...

Driver's license or valid ID, insurance information, referral letter (if required), a list of any medications you take, copies of previous x-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and previous operative reports if relevant to your appointment.

That is OK! After consulting with Dr. Noble about your shoulder or elbow issues, a personalized plan will be discussed with you based on your exam, imaging, and goals. Most people are actually with non-surgical treatments like physical therapy, injections, or PRP.
If surgery is the best option for you, both minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures and open procedures can be offered depending on your specific pathology. Arthroscopic procedures may be an option for rotator cuff tears and shoulder instability, for example. Open procedures are often used for fixing fractures (broken bones) or joint replacement.
