Dr. Matthew Noble, D.O.
  • Where are you located?

Dr. Noble sees patients at the Crystal Clinic locations in Fairlawn and Canton .

  • What should I bring with me to an appointment?

Driver's license or valid ID, insurance information, referral letter (if required), a list of any medications you take, copies of previous x-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and previous operative reports if relevant to your appointment.

  • How do I make an appointment?

Appointments can be made by calling Crystal Clinic at (330) 668-4040 and asking to make an appointment with Dr. Matthew Noble or schedule online at Crystalclinic.com.

  • What if I am not interested in surgery?

That is OK! After consulting with Dr. Noble about your shoulder or elbow issues, a personalized plan will be discussed with you based on your exam, imaging, and goals. Most people are actually with non-surgical treatments like physical therapy, injections, or PRP.

  • What surgical options are available?

If surgery is the best option for you, both minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures and open procedures can be offered depending on your specific pathology. Arthroscopic procedures may be an option for rotator cuff tears and shoulder instability, for example. Open procedures are often used for fixing fractures (broken bones) or joint replacement.

  • How long does it take to recover from shoulder or elbow surgery?

This varies depending on the surgery and your pathology. For more common procedures like shoulder replacement and rotator cuff repairs, we normally discuss releasing you to full activity by 6 months, while most patients feel much improved compared to prior to surgery by 3 months.

  • What are the costs of shoulder surgery if I don’t have insurance or want to pay out of pocket?

If you do not have insurance or you are out-of -network and would like to pay out of pocket, fixed price options are based on the procedure and are set by the Crystal Clinic. If this is an option for you and surgery is needed, we can provide pricing options so there are no surprises. This price will include costs for the day of surgery, facility fee, implants required, surgeon fee, and anesthesia fees.
